in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Healthcare Informatics (ICHI 2018)
to be held at New York City, NY, USA
on June 4th, 2018
Healthcare informatics research is a scientific endeavor that investigates the use of informatics and data science approaches for addressing healthcare needs in order to optimize both health service and patient care outcomes. With the wide adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) as well as the movement of big data, there is a need to the use of informatics and data science techniques to conduct dynamic and intelligent learning from complicated healthcare data. This workshop will provide a forum for computer scientists, healthcare informaticians, biostatistician, and clinical participants to share novel findings on their latest investigations in leveraging informatics and data science techniques for healthcare data.
The topics of interest include but not limited to:
I. Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining in Healthcare
II. Deep Learning in Healthcare
III. Healthcare Data Normalization and Management
IV. Individualized Medicine Informatics
